Oh here's a really recent one:

I had had a dream about bringing back cereal from the dream world into real life (it was a false awakening :( ), and it tasted incredibly good - it was sweet and salty at the same time, really yummy. Well a few days later, I was at a South Korea workshop, and they had Korean cookies there that tasted EXACTLY like my dream cereal! I definitely did some RCs there. I got chills all over because it was like I essentially succeeded in bringing it back after all.

I read about that. I like your perspective of how it's as though you succeeded in bringing it back to the real world. In a sense it's true because if you hadn't already tasted it - to be able to recognise the flavor - then it would have been a completely new experience. But as is, it's like you got to revisit the dream cereal in real life. I don't think it can get much more real than that. That's awesome in a cool way.

Saw an old teacher/nemesis at the grocery store today.  Had a blank stare for a few seconds before I RCed.

Well, when I'm extremely tired, I tend to reality check whenever someone starts to get too loud. Wishing that it was a dream.

I also once did a reality check when I found lost at the mall >.<

Nothing spectacular like that skunk of yours pj.

Oh yes, and sometimes I sneak a few in at school when the teachers are putting me to sleep, more of a hope that if I fall asleep I'll do one rather than being lucid then and there.
Back from the dead...let's hope I'll stick to it.

OK this happened on Friday:

I was on my way back from playing in a concert in London, on a coach with some other people from the concert, when I went past a house with a sign saying "PJ" in big letters outside it. I immediately made the connection to here and did a reality check, but found I wasn't dreaming. I figured it must have just been an estate agents sign (it was quite dark and we were going fairly fast). After the first one, I went past two more of these PJ signs, and then past the PJ estate agent's headquarters :P. I must have looked pretty silly doing various different reality checks one after another. Having researched it, I'm pretty sure it was Peter James estate agents that I saw and this logo:

Today: a fellow student is wearing a T-shirt with the text: "In my dreams I can fly"
I did an RC immediately when I saw it, but haven't got the guts to ask her if she knows about lucid dreaming or not...

Yesterday, I was participating in Europe's largest estafette run (with almost 10.000 students) I was waiting in my car at a certain checkpoint. I took a nap, cause it was about 4 am and I was really tired. When I woke up, it was 7:15 and everybody had left! I was totally alone, lying in my car and my team mates had forgotten me :(
I did several RCs, but unfortunately, it was NOT a dream :(

My family had a bonfire going on and I went to check on it. (Don't want it to run rampant.) When I got there a strange whistling came from the fire. The trees shook around me and the whistling got louder. I RCed about 10 times to no avail. After checking the fire I ran the hell away.

If you're talking to me, well, I never found out. I just got out of there as fast as I could. Maybe just a lot of wind?

Yeah - you kind of left us hanging there.

Interesting experience.  Thank you!
