Great night!  You already know I dreamed of an airport last night as well.

That technique reminds me of something we used to call Tactile Induction.  It involves vividly imagining any sort of activity that encompasses as many senses as possible - such as flying, swimming, etc.  Your rope climbing is a great one!

Hmm, tactile induction. Good term for it. It seems to become more and more realistic as I fall deeper into sleep. Around the time I feel vibrations I begin to even feel the grittiness of the rope, and the force I have to apply to squeeze it, and pull up. Seems to be working so far.

4/26 - 4/27

Fragment: There was something about a virus infecting the computers at my office. I was concerned that I may have clicked something I wasn't supposed to. Totally forgot to RC!! :(  I was somewhat disappointed when I woke up, but oh well, it is what it is.

Then I'm in my bedroom. I'm looking at the engagement ring I got my g/f (I'm actually proposing soon IWL) I open the little black box, and the ring is less then shiny. It seems much more dull then when I bought it. I begin to worry but then start polishing it with a kit I have. It begins to look shiny, so I worry less, then I look at the engravement of our initials and THEY'RE ALL WRONG!! I was kind of worried, like an "oh shit" moment.

Pretty much all I remember for the night. Still dealing with a cat who LOVES to jump up and down the window all night.

RC's never worked for me like that. I think I've gotten lucid of em 2 or 3 times, and I've been doing em every day for at least half a year now. I mainly keep doing them because I believe they can make my MILD's more effective.

I'm actually proposing soon IWL

Congratulations! :)

I hope that doesn't happen IRL!   ;)

Well, you could try to WIlD every time.

Rope-climbing WILD, that;s a good one.  I"ve got a list of about 20 tactile (thanks,pj, i always forget what that's called) visualizations.  I'll have to add that one.

I wouldn't mind learning new techniques as well. Just opening my mind to everything.

4/27 - 4/28

ROUGH night last night. Only recall a fragment, but that's not the rough part.

I was CONSTANTLY waking up. And for some reason my first thoughts were to do a rc. I was sleepless all night long, and I felt distressed. This is rare for me, I usually sleep like a baby. I woke up feeling physically ill and fatigued/weak. I'm trying to curve my thoughts so I remain in a positive mood, but I just feel like curling up into a ball right now.

Fragment: Something about the engagement ring again. Might have something to do with it being ready today, and I may have that on my mind. I remember fearing the ring would be stolen from me. Although it was too small, I wore it all night long and held my fist clenched.

Just thought I'd followup...Ironically I went to pick up the ring today because it was ready...they forgot to do the engraving. Won't be ready for another couple of days....*mega sigh*

I hope you RC'ed when they told you that!  Any ring thing--RC!!

No! I totally forgot...Honestly, my first reaction was pretty much anger..Can't say I'm proud of that, but they've had nearly 2 weeks to get that done. I was just so eager to walk out with the ring today.

On a side note, it looked amazing!

I think I was mostly sleepy and hungry, and it was affecting my mood at the moment I found out the news. Right after, I got some food, and took a nap, and I felt like a whole new person.

4/28 - 4/29

OBE: Been a good couple of months since I've had one, was nice. I was extremely aware last night as I fell asleep. I was talking myself through all the sensations my body was feeling. The second I fell asleep, I knew it. I tried to roll myself out of my body. My control was shaky. I was out of my bed, but my foot was still stuck in my body or the bed, I couldn't get it loose. I was feeling a slight tug from my body. I was trying to maintain control, so I tried rubbing my hands together like some people have stated on previous posts. I looked down and saw myself sleeping. This isn't unusual for me, as it has happened before, but for some reason when I saw myself, the tug I felt from my foot got stronger. I was essentially pulled back into my body, and I woke up.

Fragment: Something about work. I said something that made my boss upset. I rationalized it by telling him it was only a dream. I don't remember what happened next.
